Racine has a broad real estate practice and advises real estate investors, developers, retailers and public authorities on real estate transactions, development projects, public procurement, leasing, administrative and environmental law, construction matters and related litigation.

Construction law

Racine guarantees legal advice and the conducting of legal proceedings- both in civil courts and in administrative courts – concerning construction projects and undertakings on behalf of professionals in the construction and public sector.

In addition, we also defend our clients in expert examinations, mediation and arbitration. Furthermore, we act as a mediator in the context of arbitration proceedings in construction disputes or as a counsellor to defend the interests of our clients in arbitration proceedings. We assist our clients with appropriate advice and assist them in finding amicable solutions.

We work in close consultation with our Public and Administrative Law practice group. This group assists clients in awarding public contracts, applying for and contesting environmental permits (urban development and/or environmental permits), obtaining accreditation as a contractor as a contractor and going through the procedures relating to soil pollution and expropriations.

In collaboration with the Liability Law practice group, we assist our clients with regard to litigation and the settlement of claims resulting from construction work, as well as conducting both amicable and judicial expert examinations.
