
About
Angélique Daponte joined the Brussels bar in 2020. She completed the Master’s in law degree (magna cum laude) with a focus on commercial law, corporate law and insolvency law at Ghent University. Prior to completing her law degree, she obtained the Master of Business Economics at the same university (2017). She is particularly interested in insolvency law and commercial and contract law in the broad sense.
Angélique was a teaching assistant at the Center for the Law of Obligations and Property at Ghent University, to which she is still affiliated as voluntarily scientific researcher. Since September 2022 she has also been appointed as a teaching assistant at the Institute of Insolvency Law at KU Leuven.
